I consider myself an Agnostic. I believe the possibility of there being a higher being (or higher beings) as possible as there being none at all. I do frequently start debates in regards to those who are deep within their own faiths only to see if they have the same objectivity as I think I do. I have just started looking into the ideals of Nihilism. To be honest, they definitely are for hardcore skeptics of religion and the reasons why we are here. Check out the video...

Also, some interesting reading can be found at the link below about Nihilism. Again, I'm not trying to start a religious war, but only trying to open up skepticism and reasoning of of all natures.

Yes, they have the WORST acronym for a website.  Cheesy

You should read Nietzsche's "About the origin of morality". There is actually a logical reason as to why be good; "They are important to me." Self-preservation, and it's extension, the will for power is usually the ultimate bottom when reasoning about human nature. This is, however, selfish by nature. You can only extract your morals from yourself in one way or another, be it your unconcious instinct, your experience-based reasoning, or your simple liking of the ideas of others. It's still a choise and mechanism constructed to protect and serve YOU. One's morality is always in the individuals's own best interest.

Now, following this reasoning, one can easily see a pattern; A thinking persons (believe me, not everybody is thinking) self image and personality can directly be judged by one's moral perception. What is then the ultimate goal? The final proof of mental strenght? The individual with NO morals. No need for feeble constructs to serve as his or her protection and tool for the world outside.

Those individuals are truly free and honest in their every thought, action and word. Those who have broken free from the cage built as a protection by their own thoughts. The übermenchen.

Blessed be the Obsessed, for their goals are clear.
Blessed be the Murderers, for they have found beauty in death.
Blessed be the Manics, for they see the world in new light.
Blessed be the Paranoid, for they are ever vigilant.

Blessed be the Mad, for We shall inherit the world.
